Jerac

Hello, I'm Jerac, a professional guide and native of the area since my indigenous and Bogota ancestors. My stories are those that my family has told to all their generations, stories of ordinary people. I love telling the story of my country, I love nature, one of my primary focuses, history, ancestry and culture. I am a smiling girl who proudly speaks, feels and lives her city and her country, proudly Colombian. Welcome, welcome.

Description

Hello, very welcome. Before my description, please take these recommendations into account.
RECOMMENDATIONS
1. If you visit Monserrate, plan for long lines, both on and off the bus. If you take my tour, I recommend starting the line an hour early to arrive on time.
2. If you are staying near the airport, Usaquén, Chicó, Chapinero or a distant area, book your transportation an hour and a half in advance to arrive on time, Bogotá traffic is heavy.
3. I will always send you a confirmation message, I recommend you review it and confirm it.
4. If for some reason you know you won't be able to arrive, write to me, since sometimes I only expect one person and I get worried because sometimes they don't arrive and don't answer me letting me know.
5.Bogotá is rainy, always carry a cape or umbrella, since the tour is not canceled, except in cases of heavy rain.
Thank you for taking these recommendations into account. Thanks 🙂
P.S. Also, if you could refer me to more people, it would help me, since I take care of my sick mother and my rescued dogs. This is my only job, and it would be a great support if you shared my profile and recommended my services. Many blessings, beautiful people.
We Bogotanos are friendly people, and I am one of them. I am from Bogotá and I feel part of my Muisca ancestry, the ethnic group that originally inhabited my city.
Do you want to know about Bogota ghosts? The story of why we call coffee "tinto" (red coffee)? What mysteries are hidden in the houses and streets of the historic center?
I won't talk much about stories from books or the Internet that you already know, I will talk and immerse you in the experience of oral knowledge that in my family, from my ancestors, became a tradition and today I bring you alive the anecdotes of old Bogotá , the one that few know and that few of us know.

This free tour will feature a touch of ancestry, a connection with nature, history, smiles, stories of death, love, our homeland, and more.

Welcome to discover the secrets that others don't know about my Bogotá . Come and visit a Bogotana born in the city center and who comes from a family of original Bogotano lineage. I am also a professional guide, biologist, educator, entrepreneur, environmentalist, and respectful of the cultures that visit us. Don't miss it. #thecountryofbeauty.
Note: bring an umbrella and a coat, Bogotá is sunny and rainy, I will recommend cafes and some places to eat in the area, chicha and more. The interpretation can sometimes take a little longer than usual to 2 hours. It is not canceled due to rain, confirm by message before arriving, so I know what to expect at the meeting point, blessings. 🤗🙏 You will recognize me because I usually wear sunglasses or a black cap, also pay attention to my messages since there I will give you instructions on how I am dressed, that way you will recognize me easily. Blessings
