Walkative! Tours

Walkative was established in 2007 by a group of young enthusiasts who also happened to be licensed tour guides. Today, we operate in 20 cities in countries across all of Europe and beyond, including France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Ukraine and Israel. We have already guided more than 3 million tourists, with more than 350 000 in 2023 only! Despite this growth, we stay true to our values: be local and present the history of our cities in a professional, yet entertaining way, accessible for everybody, regardless their budget. We provide service not only in big, well established places like Berlin, Paris or Krakow, but also smaller, less known, yet no less fascinating locations, like Nice, Toruń or Lublin. We cooperate with highly trained, professional guides providing both engaging tip-based and regular fixed-price tours. And most importantly - we know our cities by heart! Join us and stay Walkative!

Description

Take part in a captivating journey through Tel Aviv, affectionately known as the "white city," a UNESCO-declared world heritage site. This tour will lead us through the iconic landmarks that earned it the distinction of being the pioneering architecturally planned modern Hebrew city. Beginning from Tel Aviv's inaugural neighbourhood and traversing Rothschild Blvd, the railroad park, and Neve Tzedek—the first Jewish settlement beyond Yafo (Jaffa)—we'll encounter an array of remarkable sights.
Among the highlights, we'll visit the Mayor's House, a site of historical significance as it played a pivotal role in the declaration of Israel's independence. Next, we'll marvel at the majestic Great Synagogue and explore the fascinating blend of International (Bauhaus) architecture and dreamhouse-style structures that grace the city's skyline.
To add a touch of romance to our journey, we'll meander through the enchanting alleys of Neve Tzedek, where the charm of the past melds harmoniously with the vibrancy of the present. Each step of this tour will uncover the essence and splendor of Tel Aviv, capturing the spirit of a city that stands proudly as a testament to its rich heritage and architectural prowess.
