Walking into a forest park in the heart of a city of 12 millions inhabitants !
Starting from Lumphini park, at the statue of king Rama VI, we go along the pounds, spotting the mysterious monitor lizards. Strolling around small bridges, pavilions and kiosk, we escape the ambient boiling.
A hidden footbridge brings us to the new Benjakitti forest park, where a walkway goes through the wetland, as originally was here.
We end up on Sukhumvit / Asok road, at the gigantic Terminal 21 (BTS Asok), where this vibrant city regains its vitality...
