Description

Do you want to know the history of the city of Wroclaw?
The city of Wroclaw is characterized by its contrasts, we are facing a city that combines German architecture from the late 19th century with brutalist architecture from the Polish socialist era, this city, of special importance for the Prussian kingdom, has been the scene of revolutions, wars, and the fateful Festung Breslau, a Soviet siege of the city that reshaped (through destruction) the entire city.

This city and its turbulent history have caused its architecture, the atmosphere of the city and its own identity to form a city that today could be considered the hidden pearl of Poland.

In this free tour we will not only talk about Wroclaw, we will talk about its origins, both etymological and historical, from feudal rule to the arrival of the great Austrian and German empires, as well as its role during World War II, during the cold and its relevance today.
