Description
Welcome to Osaka!
Hello! My name is Teru.
I'm a Japanese guide living in Osaka and I love sharing the history, culture and food of this amazing city.
On this tour, we will explore unique places that showcase the authentic spirit of Osaka.
We will start at Isshin-ji, a Buddhist temple with more than 1,000 years of history, famous for its Buddha statues made from the ashes of the deceased.
Next, we will visit Horikoshi Jinja, a small but significant shrine where locals come to make important wishes, as it is said that “a single prayer here always comes true.”
Next, we'll head into Ura-Tennoji, a hidden food area frequented by Osaka locals, where you can try authentic dishes in places little known to tourists.
From kushikatsu to local specialties, you'll feel the true culinary essence of the city here.
Next, we will stroll through Tennoji Park, a green space surrounded by history and modernity.
We will end in Shinsekai, a nostalgic neighborhood full of life, known for its retro atmosphere, the iconic Tsutenkaku Tower and its street food, such as kushikatsu.
If you want to explore Osaka from a local's perspective, this tour is for you. Join me on this unique adventure!
