Description

Welcome to the Wonders of Buda Castle !

NEW FEATURES OF THE BUDA CASTLE TOUR :
UNDERGROUND HIDDEN GEMS

Please keep that in mind if there are many cancellations and the number of walkers go down under four the tour might  be cancelled even in the last hour. (gurus just like walkers travel long distance to the castle area) Always check your  Guruwalk and WhatsApp  messages !  Please consider other walkers and try to avoid last hour cancellations. The Guru has the right to cancel a tour just like the walker. Please be fair and do not punish Gurus with negative reviews  destroying their reputations especially if a tour is cancelled and you did not participate because if  a considerable number of walkers cancel  a tour  the Guru has the right to cancel as well. Thank you for respecting and understanding the above written.

My tour is a special one : It is full of history, hidden gems and humor
.
I have a passion to teach history but I know how important humor is when I talk about history for hours.
( By the way my Hungarian name is Matyas just like the King of Hungary who lived in Buda in the 15th century.)

I will show you some hidden gems that are under the surface but played  a significant part in the history of Buda Castle.

During the tour I share recommendations of museums, restaurants, thermal baths, venues of music, art and wine festivals and many more.

I also share useful tips on how to use public transport to reach the most desirable destinations in the city day and night.

My tour starts from Matthias Church in Buda Castle a minute's walk from Holy Trinity Square.
Look out for the Blue Umbrella.
