Hello everyone! I am an economics professor, passionate about travel and who considers that tourism is an opportunity to get to know other cultures and ways of life. I want people who come to Medellín to have all the necessary information to maximize their stay in the city. That they have bases of the existing means of transport, of the food of the region and of the most visited places, but also what the locals do to have a good time.

Pickup

Aguacatala Metro Station at the exit where the turnstiles are. I am identified with a blue shirt with my name in white on the front.

Description

FIND YOURSELF IN MEDELLÍN

This is a three-hour tour that will tell you part of the city's history as you walk through different places in the city center and neighborhoods of Poblado.

The goal is for people to be clear about many aspects that a tourist should know, such as: what places to go, where and what to eat, where to have a craft beer, where you can walk without problems, how to use the city's transportation service (metro, tram, cables, bus), but also to know the attractions that there are in Medellín such as: the graffiti tour, everything related to Pablo Escobar and the painter Fernando Botero, describing what there is in Envigado and Sabaneta and how to get to those places.

In short, it is a walk to discover the place where you are, with a description of what is happening in the city and with tips and tourist advice:

  • Aguacatala Metro Station. Exit
  • Medellin Center Botero Plaza (Fernando Botero Sculptures)
  • National Palace Shopping Center
  • Plaza de San Antonio (Paloma Fernando Botero sculpture)
  • Inflexion Memorial Park (Pablo Escobar)
  • Virgin Mystic Rose
  • Santa Fe Shopping Center. Money can be exchanged.
  • President Park Farmers Market (Sundays only)
  • Lleras Park
  • Provence
  • Craft Beer Stop (Optional)
  • It ends at the Poblado del Metro station.

Note: Most of the time you will be walking, so you should be prepared to do it for 3 hours.

The subway is used twice so this expense must be taken into account.

Before the tour I will write to you to give you directions to the meeting point.

I look forward to seeing you on this very comprehensive tour of the city :)
