Buda AND Pest in One Step - See It All, Miss Nothing! ✅👣
Hello, my name is Viktória. I was born and raised in Budapest, and I still call this beautiful city my home. I’m passionate about music and I sing in a blues band, but I also work as a tour guide because I love sharing the rich and fascinating history of Budapest with others. Whether through music or storytelling, my goal is to connect with people and help them experience the unique spirit of this city. Hope to see you soon! 🥳

Meeting point: St. Stephens Basilica - look for the purple umbrella! :)
Description
Let’s discover both sides of the city — Buda AND Pest — together! 🥳
We’ll begin our walking tour at St. Stephen’s Basilica, one of the most iconic landmarks of Budapest, located right in the heart of the city.
From there, we’ll stroll to Liberty Square, surrounded by impressive historical buildings and monuments.
Next, we’ll visit the Hungarian Parliament, the most famous tourist attraction in Budapest, admired for its stunning architecture and riverside setting.
From the Parliament, we’ll walk down to the Shoes on the Danube Bank, a moving memorial dedicated to the victims of World War II. Here, standing by the river, we’ll get a panoramic view across to the Buda side, where we’ll see — from the outside — Buda Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion, and Matthias Church.
After this, we’ll head to Jászai Mari Square, a historically important square in Pest, and cross the magnificent Margaret Bridge on foot. During our walk across, we’ll enjoy some of the best views of the Danube and both riverbanks.
Finally, we’ll reach the hidden gem of Buda: the Tomb of Gül Baba. This peaceful and lesser-known site offers a lovely panoramic view of the city — a perfect ending point to our tour.
The tour will end on the Buda side, at Gül Baba’s tomb.
