Also, you will visit one of Lima’s most iconic Highlights: the San Francisco Monastery and it's famous spooky Catacombs: monastic cloisters, decorated with beautiful Sevillian tiles, an ancient library, home to over 25,000 antique books, Colonial (virreinal) Art (Oil on Canvas), and the famous catacombs, an underground ossuary that once served as a burial site for thousands during colonial times. This is a must-visit for travelers interested in history, architecture, and the layered cultural past of Lima.
This is a literally 3 hours and 30 min experience (no time in buses).

At the beginning of the tour, we kindly ask for 150 soles per person. From that moment on, you won’t need to worry about anything, just relax and enjoy this carefully curated storytelling experience: 3.5 hour tour, Franciscan Monastery & Catacombs ticket, controversial explanations beyond mainstream history, great humor, foodie surprises, off the beaten path, logistics, GuruWalk fee, and actually everything. ;)
1. All of us - the tour guides - are locals and professionals with 3 to 5 years of education at University.
50% of your tip goes to the guide, and the other 50% to the company (Lima Destroy Tours), the agency will cover the GuruWalk platform fee per person and other logistical expenses. Guides have no salary.
2. We never cancel tours for a matter of group size, even if there’s only one person booked.
We always deliver a fantastic experience, no matter the group size.
However, if we ever cancel, it is really because we couldn't make it, and we will prove it if you ask for.
3. Things we DO NOT do:
We do not take you to or recommend any tourist trap or any museum-store that you could easily visit on your own.
We do not accept massive groups.
We don’t go for quantity - we value quality, transparency, and connection.
