My name is Françoys, I am a Montreal native and I have been working as a guide for 12 years and in tourism for 30 years. I would like to show you my city and anecdotes about history. Let's walk together!

I'll be at the base of Nelson's column on the same side that Nelson is looking at! I carry a long pole with a formula one race flag

Description

I invite you to travel back in time to old Montreal! I like to mix stories from Canada that stand out in old Montreal. This allows them to better understand my country and my city and its particularities.
I also hand them a map of the city with a list of suggested places to see and do after the tour.

The Free Tour lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours and has as its meeting point the Nelson Column in Jacques Cartier Square.
Throughout the tour we will see Chateau Ramezay , the first church in Montreal: Notre-Dame de Bonsecours , then the Bonsecours market , St-Paul street , the first shopping street, the Notre-Dame Basilica and the parade ground with its buildings counting 4 centuries of history.
Next we will go on the subway to show you how to use the underground corridors from the convention center. We will continue to the World Trade Center. Then it will be McGill Street and an anecdote about the filming that is done in Montreal.
We will end the tour at the Royal Square and the Pointe-a-Callieres archeology museum.

I wait for you!
