I’m a Genetics and Bioengineering student with a deep love for my hometown and country. I'm very communicative and enjoy engaging with tourists—not only to share the rich history and culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also to learn about their backgrounds and perspectives. For the past five years, I’ve been actively involved in the tourism industry, including an internship at a local tourist agency in Sarajevo. Through this experience—and my own continuous research—I’ve gained in-depth knowledge about Sarajevo and the rest of the country, which I now enjoy passing on to visitors. I speak fluent English and some German, and I’m also learning Italian to better connect with non-English-speaking guests. With years of experience and a strong passion for cultural exchange, I’ve recently started offering independent tours—hoping to create unforgettable memories for everyone who visits Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Description

Come with me to explore the wonders of Sarajevo and its 500+ years of vibrant history. Known as the Jerusalem of Europe, Sarajevo is far more than the capital of an unknown Balkan country—it is a city where cultures, religions, and empires have met and mingled for centuries.

Our journey begins in the lively streets of Baščaršija, the Old Town, at the iconic Sebilj fountain, a symbol of the city’s Ottoman heritage. We then stroll along the main street that beautifully showcases Sarajevo’s multicultural identity, where four major places of worship stand proudly within walking distance: the Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Old Synagogue, and the Orthodox Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos

We’ll stop at the site of the 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the event that triggered World War I, and cross the charming bridges over the Miljacka River. Our walk concludes at two of Sarajevo’s most striking landmarks—the majestic City Hall (Vijećnica) and the legendary House of Spite, a symbol of resilience and pride.

Join us and witness where East meets West, and past meets present.
