Description
Bosa is a particular town , located on the north-western coast of Sardinia and included among the most beautiful villages in Italy. My name is Gian Piero, I am a Tour Guide authorized by the Sardinian Region, I know the whole island but my specialization is Bosa, which is also my city.
If you want to know the history and legends of this lively and colorful medieval village you can rely on me because I will accompany you through the alleys of Sa Costa, the upper part built on the ridge of the Serravalle hill. Here I will let you discover corners unknown to most, until you arrive under the walls of the Malaspina castle from where you can enjoy a panorama that ranges from the surrounding mountains and hills to the mouth of the Temo river.
Very often on my tours we meet some ladies from the village intent on working the Bosa fliet, a precious lace made on the loom, renowned throughout Sardinia. Before starting the descent towards the lower part we have the possibility of a short stop in a kiosk on the lookout, some water or a good coffee.
The visit ends in the scenic Corso Vittorio Emanuele, with the majestic nineteenth-century fountain in Piazza Costituzione.
