Rosetta's passion for travel took her from a small town in Bangladesh to Dhaka, the capital city, and then to the UK. Having discovered her true love for travel, local cuisine, and ancient history, she began exploring her country from a fresh perspective. Rosetta is fluent in English, learning French, and also speaks some Hindi. Rosetta would love for you to join her in exploring the beauty and joy of Dhaka and enjoying a leisurely stroll!

Description

This fun and relaxed walking tour will introduce you to the cultural mix of the city of Dhaka along with a glimpse of modern art and the lifestyle of the city's inhabitants. The tour begins with a modern art exhibition and a short walk through the city's cultural center, Dhanmondi. You will discover how the city's residents enjoy their leisure time and have the opportunity to enjoy some local street food if you wish. The two-and-a-half-kilometer walking tour will include free entry and visits to some fascinating points of interest, including a modern art exhibition, Rabindra Sarobar (the famous open stage for art theater), boating on Dhanmondi Lake (at your own cost), the French Cultural Hub in the city of Dhaka, a local street market, and many more. You might find monkeys stealing cookies from the tea stall if you're lucky and have many fun moments on this short walk. This tour will end at Dhaka College, from where you can take a local rickshaw (Tuk Tuk ride) if you wish. We will visit New Market, one of the oldest shopping areas in Dhaka, where I will help you understand how to bargain in Bangladeshi style! You can also try the famous 'Dhakaiya' street food and take home a fabulous recipe to try!
