People call me Lux. (Lux Soap) My last name is Ngoun Sominea, I am usually a professional local tour guide and the founder of AngkorTouchStone Private Day Tours. I have been organizing tours since 2007 as I originally came from Phnom Pehn, the capital city, in 2003. According to my 10 years of working as a tour guide and tour organizer, I have found doing this job to be fun. Also, I like sharing my history, culture, tradition and religion. Being a tour guide is not an easy job, but what makes me curious about this job is providing good service and a good personality to be responsible as well as taking care of tourists. In other words, I do my best to offer what Cambodia has to meet the needs of visitors. Many people ask why I call myself the best local tour guide? There is so much to say! Description
This is a city walking tour which will take 1.30 to 2 hours around Siem Reap activities you may be looking at doing while having some spare time after visiting all of those magical temples, or you may have just arrived to the city and wanted to get a city vibe’s navigate or you may have some time left before your flight and wonder what else to do and light sightseeing at the same time learning about our locals' way of life.
We will start meeting up at Grand Hotel (Ruffle) Park, and continue to see local markets to see how locals sell their local daily fresh veggies and meat, you can even try the local breakfast, snacks, juices, or desserts. There are many things to see in the market with fresh fish, frogs, or even snails they sell daily so bring a camera as you can take many good photos for your memory.
Then we will continue to see the local monastery, talk to the monk and see how they live then we will continue to see also local school and a ruins temple which you don't need to buy the tickets for as it is free for the entree.
at the end of the tour, you will learn many thing about our local daily life. religion, history, and local way of life.
