WHAT IS BARRACAS, THE THOUSAND FACES OF THE DEEP SOUTH?
The perfect route for those who are more travelers than tourists. Barracas is the neighborhood of aristocratic mansions, abandoned factories, design studios, recovered industries, collective worker housing, graffiti murals, bodegones and centennial bars, railroads, Jews from Syria. Barracas is the neighborhood of old spaces and new ideas, a small city within Buenos Aires, where thousands of styles coexist, treasuring countless stories, characters and well-kept secrets.

WHERE IS BARRACAS, THE THOUSAND FACES OF THE DEEP SOUTH?
We travel fifth and nineteenth century mansions of the upper class of Buenos Aires. We discovered cookie mills converted into modern housing complexes, and old markets became the Metropolitan Design Center. We walk the urban art factory that are the streets of Barracas, where we see "El regreso de Quinquela", a 2,000 square meter mural that exceeded the Guinness record; or the passage Lanín, where the color of mosaics and ceramics transform the fronts of more than 40 houses, in one of the most characteristic interventions of the city. We also visit a neo-Gothic church that recalls a tragic love of youth; an art deco train station in operation; an oriental synagogue of Mudejar style. A true journey through time, where trains, graffiti artists, workers, highways, designers, squares and cobblestones are the protagonists.
