Everest Base Camp trek bounces an owing mountain view with the foretastes of the lifestyle of world-famous mountain climbers, the Sherpas. The trek gives access to the Sagarmatha National Park which is enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is the presence of several peaks of the Himalayas by the side of Mt. Everest. Kalapatthar is a mountain near Mt. Everest which is famous for obtaining the views of wide-ranging along with beautiful views of Everest and the other peaks. Sherpas are the best attendant for climbing the Mt. Everest. Besides, the Khumbu glacier is also one of the most attractive places for tourists towards the area. The 15 days Everest Base Camp Trek itinerary is designed for the trekkers who are in good health and have average physical fitness. Trekkers need to maintain safety for problems that may arise while trekking as the base camp is situated in the high altitude. You should take properly required gear before trekking. Some may suffer from several headaches. Drinking sufficient water can help trekkers to get rid of several pains and problems. Our journey starts from Kathmandu Valley. We have a flight to Lukla airport from Kathmandu and trek towards the route of Phakding. We go straight towards Namche bazaar where we can get heart-melting views of different peaks of mountains that enable us to every moment in our cameras. We trek back to Namche Bazaar through Pheriche and then back to Lukla after having look over beautiful sights of peaks. Our journey ends back in Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Day 1: Entrance in Kathmandu and shift in a hotel

As soon as you reach to Kathmandu, a guide will pick you up and take you to a hotel. We’ll discuss the tour later in the afternoon. In the evening, you’ll be served a special dinner that introduces Nepali food culture.

Day 2: Flight to Lukla and hike to Phakding
After an early breakfast, we take a flight to Lukla. We start our trek from Lukla towards Phakding. Then we will go to different cultural villages with beautiful scenes of various mountains including Mt. Khumbila. We stay overnight in Phakding.

Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar

The trek towards Namche Bazaar goes through pine forests and up to the Benkar Valley in the North. We need to cross the Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa and Monjo Villages before arriving at Everest National Park. We stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day

Today is our acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. We can have a visit to Namche Bazaar and notice the different natural beauties of the Everest and Khumbu region. The place provides beautiful scenes of the different peaks including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and many more.

Day 5: Trek to Tengboche

The next day, we continue our trek towards Tengboche village which has the biggest monastery of the Everest region which is the Tengboche monastery. We can notice different Buddhist ceremonies while having a visit to Tengboche.

Day 6: Trek to Dingboche

We get admire good views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. We stay overnight in Dingboche.

Day 7: Acclimatization Day
We need to acclimate ourselves to the high altitude. We can survey various places of Dingboche on this day.

Day 8: Trek to Lobuche

Today our trek moves towards the steep terminal of the Khumbu Glacier. We move through boulder-strewn slopes and trek to Chupki Lhara which is the ridge that provides spectacular views of different mountains. We stay overnight in Lobuche.

Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep, visit Everest Base Camp

Today we’ll trek towards the Everest Base Camp. The trek is not very difficult as we walk through a lot of meandering on rough terrains and enjoy different incredible melt patterns and rounded towers on the upper part of the Khumbu region. After the visit to Everest Base Camp, we return back to Gorakshep for a night stay.

Day 10: Trek to Kala Patthar, trek to Pheriche
Early in the morning, we walk to Kala Patthar which has a heart-melting view of Mt. Everest in its background. After having the sight of the beautiful mountain scenes, we walk to Pheriche to stay the whole night.

Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar

The next day we walk back to Namche Bazaar with a lot of problems on the way. We walk through a hillside with various rhododendron and juniper trees. We stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 12: Trek to Lukla

Our trek goes on to Lukla on rocky terrain. We cross over suspension bridges and go through various monasteries before reaching Lukla. We stay overnight in Lukla.

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu
Next early morning, after breakfast, we fly towards Kathmandu. We get beautiful views of different mountain peaks on the way. We stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 14: Final Departure

Our Everest Base Camp tour comes to an end this day. A guide will help you with your final departure.
