Itinerary

Day 1: Materuni waterfall & Coffee tour

After breakfast, we drive from Arusha to the Moshi region. On arrival, you will hike to the famous waterfalls. After a local lunch buffet, you will learn about the history of the Chagga people who are residents of the Kilimanjaro region. You will drive for 1 hour after the visit to the Kikuletwa Hot Springs for the rest of the day.

In the evening, you will drive to your accommodation in Arusha, the Karibu Heritage House Hotel.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

fter breakfast at the campsite, enter Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive until the afternoon when you’ll break for lunch.

This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake covering two-thirds of the park. It’s located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s Western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. You’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an en-route game drive until late in the afternoon. Stop at Naabi Hills Gate and have lunch. Afterward, start the game drive toward Serengeti National Park until sunset when you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park

You will have an early sunrise game drive to search for predators and other animals. After the game drive, return to the campsite for lunch whereafter you will continue with the game drive until 3:30 pm. Return to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti NP to Ngorongoro Crater

You will have an early sunrise game drive to look for predators and other animals. After the game drive, return for lunch whereafter you will continue with the game drive en-route to Ngorongoro where you will have dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

You will have an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 6-hour game drive with a picnic lunch. After the exciting game viewing, you will exit the park and drive to Sunbright Campsite & Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7: Tarangire National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, we will pick you up from the lodge and start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes. Later, we will return to Arusha.

The name of Tarangire National Park originated from the Tarangire River which winds its way through the parkland. The river is the primary water source for wild animals during the dry seasons. The park is also well-known for its large elephant herds, iconic giant baobab trees, and diverse seasonal swamps and savannah landscapes. We may have the experience of seeing a lion stalking his prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.
