Leave Nairobi in the morning and head to Solio ranch nestled between the Aberdare ranges and the snowcapped Mount Kenya. Solio Rhino conservation sanctuary stands out as a haven for both black and white rhinos, providing a unique opportunity to witness these majestic creatures up close in their natural habitat. In Solio ranch the rhino conservation is a success story, and both the black and white rhinos wander around in plenty. Other animals such as lions, leopards’ zebras and other herbivores abound. After the full afternoon game drive, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we leave Solio, Nyeri area and get into the Aberdare ranges locally known as Nyandarua ranges meaning the dry hide of a cow. We drive through the different levels of mountain vegetation as we come across animals like the giant forest hog, elephants, hyenas, cape buffalos’ duikers’ bushbucks and if lucky melanistic serval cat if not the rare melanistic leopard. We make stops for the enchanting landscapes as we ascend the ranges. Magnificent water falls like the Chania falls and Kenya’s biggest waterfall, the karuru falls are to be found here and we get to explore them. The queen’s cave is not to be by passed as its not only breathtaking but it’s a story unto itself as it played as a hiding spot for Kenya’s freedom fighters the Mau Mau. It was also used by queen Elizabeth for picnic and the Magura falls makes it even a more magnificent spot. We later exit the park and drive for approximately 2 hrs to Lake Naivasha for overnight.
After an early breakfast we head out for a boat ride ( at an extra cost), about one hour in the only freshwater lake in the Kenyan rift valley that is home to hippos and over 400 bird species. Get pied kingfishers in action, the African fish eagle busy looking for the all-important protein source, the fish. Common carp is the most common fish here. Later drive to the Masai Mara and reach in time to take lunch in the camp/lodge then have an afternoon game drive. Check in to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Masai Mara game reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. The Maasai Mara’s lion population is renowned for its density and diversity, offering an unparalleled opportunity to witness the fascinating dynamics of these social felines. Lions, the only truly social cats, form intricate family structures known as prides. These prides, consisting of lionesses, cubs, and often a dominant male, navigate the grassy plains and acacia-dotted landscapes. We have flexible Game drives tailored just for you as we search for the Big 5 i.e. Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous plain game. Dinner and overnight stay.
The lions of the Maasai Mara are not merely inhabitants of this vast wilderness; they are the rulers, their roars echoing across the savannah, asserting their dominance and marking their territory. The sight of a lioness stealthily approaching her prey or a pride working collaboratively to bring down a formidable target is a spectacle that etches itself into the memories of those fortunate enough to witness it. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. You will easily see rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savannah.
After breakfast, we will head back to Nairobi arriving by early evening.

This Safari is not available for Solo Travelers
You will have to pay a deposit of at least 40% of the booking value for the booking to be confirmed. Please note that the deposit amount varies based on the tour type and shall be notified to you before making the booking. Once the booking is accepted by us, we shall send you a booking confirmation email with the voucher, which shall serve as a contract between us from the date we send the confirmation. All details about the balance payment which is due before the departure date will be mentioned in the booking voucher. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
In case of cancellations, the following charges will apply on the amount paid · 45% if cancelled between 60 and 45 days prior to arrival · 60% if cancelled between 44 and 30 days prior to arrival · 100% if cancelled 30 days and 24 hrs. prior to arrival
