Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or at the airport at 0730hrs then drive to Mt Kenya region to arrive at the lodge/Hotel where you spend 2 days exploring. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge _ optional night game drives to see the nocturnal animals can be arranged at an extra cost.

Sweetwater's is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area

It is also where the fastest-growing population of rhinos in Africa can be found.

There are southern white rhinos, about 80 endangered black rhinos and in a special sanctuary there are two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos. Dinner and overstay at the Camp/Hotel.

Day 2: Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Lake Nakuru National Park

We leave after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru national park. After approximately 4hrs we arrive and start our game drive at this awe-inspiring park. We search for both the black and white rhinos, the park's dedicated rhino enclosure, established in 1984, provides a secure environment for these endangered species and by 2025, the population continues to thrive, making Nakuru one of the best places in Kenya to spot them. See lions, antelopes, visit the shorelines for the flamingos and pelicans.

The Lake Nakuru’s diverse ecosystem offers a spectacular introduction to the abundance of nature in East Africa.

Dinner and lunch will be at the Lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 3: Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast we have a short drive to maximize the morning light and later drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve as you enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley - Masai Mara game reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya's most favored

game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. Afternoon game drive to see the sundowner as you trail the Big 5 i.e. Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous plain game. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp/Lodge. Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4: Day 4: Full Day at Masai Mara National Reserve

Full days spent exploring the park in search of the big 5/other predators. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe that over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

Day 5: Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast drive, we will head back to Nairobi arriving by early evening.

You will either be dropped at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport.
