Itinerary
Gather at your Dar es Salaam hotel by 8:00 am and depart for Mikumi NP. Our tour driver will guide you from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, a journey lasting around 5 to 6 hours with a lunch stop in Morogoro Town.
As you travel to Mikumi NP you will experience the various economical activities, culture, architecture of the coastal communities as you get to mikumi anticipate sightings of captivating wildlife including majestic African elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, giraffes, impalas, hyenas, buffalo, wildebeest, elands, hartebeest, crocodiles, lizards, and more. The park boasts over 300 bird species as well.
Afterward, you will be met by staff from Atupele Camp Lodge for dinner and overnight relaxation. Dont forget to bring your swimming suit as you relax by the pool while listening to the sounds nature brings

Lunch will be served inside the national park. In the afternoon, you will exit the park and go to Atupele Camp Lodge for your overnight and dinner. The food is good here and they are generally one of the better places to stay at Mikumi.

The Maasai, a renowned traditional Nomadic tribe in Tanzania and Kenya well known for their heroic traditions and one of the very few cultures in Africa that retains their traditions and culture for centuries. Note that this trip is optional; travelers in a hurry to return to Zanzibar can choose to skip this cultural experience. Simply inform us of your preference during booking.
