Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Arusha Arrival at JRO Airport.

Our guide will meet you and facilitate transfer to your hotel at the hotel you will get

Dinner and overnight stay at the booked hotel.

Day 2: Safari to Arusha National park

Embark on a journey to discover and explore the diversity of Arusha National Park, nestled on the foothills of Mount Meru—one of Africa's most beautiful volcanoes and the fifth-highest peak. Only a 45-minute drive from Arusha City center, this picturesque park offers a variety of attractions. Mount Meru provides an ideal high-altitude acclimatization warm-up before tackling Kilimanjaro.

The park presents numerous attractions within its limited area, including the rugged landscapes of Mount Meru and Ash Cone, scenic views of Momella Lakes, tropical forest glades, and Ngurdoto Crater. Visitors to the park can engage in activities such as game viewing, horseback riding, climbing Mount Meru, and organized walks with a ranger.

Day 3: Safari to Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast, you'll embark on a drive to Tarangire for a captivating game drive. This park is renowned for hosting the world's largest concentrations of elephants and a diverse array of breeding bird species. Particularly during the dry season, Tarangire National Park teems with wildlife, including big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as rarely spotted species like Kudu, Oryx, and Gerenuk.

The Tarangire River attracts massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, along with their predators. In the afternoon, you'll head to Tarangire Safari Lodge for dinner, followed by a two-hour night game drive in the park, offering a unique opportunity to spot nocturnal animals such as porcupines, pangolins, aardvarks, and more. Your overnight stay will be at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Safari to Tarangire National Park

Start your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a morning game drive. Later, return to the lodge for a hot lunch and relaxation. In the evening, depart for another game drive to witness the diverse wildlife of Tarangire National Park. This park continues to showcase its abundance of elephants, big cats, and a variety of bird species. As the day concludes, head to Tarangire Safari Lodge for dinner and enjoy another two-hour night game drive, providing a unique opportunity to observe nocturnal creatures. Your overnight stay will once again be at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park Safari

Today, after breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which will take approximately 1 hour  to reach the main gate. The park is known for its frequent sightings of zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffaloes, and warthogs, among many other animals. if you are lucky, you may spot a tree-climbing lion. In the late afternoon, you drive to Marera lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Safari to Serengeti National park

After breakfast, you drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you first have a picnic lunch and then continue with a beautiful and exciting game drive in the park.  Serengeti is famous for the abundance of lions, leopards, and cheetahs that can usually be seen quite easily. Game viewing in this central area of Serengeti is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like hyenas, jackals, elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, ostrich, aardvark, pangolin, and many more. In the late afternoon, you will continue to Serengeti Baobab camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Central Full Safari in Serengeti National Park

Today you will have a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti national park with picnic lunch, with early departure looking for active predators and other wildlife. Enhance your safari experience by flying in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti plains at sunrise. Spot wildlife below when you float over the beautiful African savannah. A magical experience with wonderful panoramic views (this can be arranged at an extra cost). If you want to spot the Big Five – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo- all in one park, then Serengeti is the best place for that. In the late afternoon, you will return to Serengeti Baobab Tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Full Serengeti National park Safari

Today you will depart at 06:00 am for early morning game drive. You will later have picnic breakfast saved in the bush, then continue with another morning game drive. You will return to the camp for hot lunch and a little siesta, then depart for afternoon game drive. You will return to your camp for a shower, then meet again with your guide at the fireplace for a drink and a short history of Tanzania. On a clear night, this is a great opportunity to learn about the African night sky. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Baobab Tented camp.

Day 9: Drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Today you set off towards the Ngorongoro Crater for your last game drive. It shelters close to 30.000 animals including the Big Five. The crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs, and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colors and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. In the late afternoon, you drive to Marera lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Departure Fly back Home

On your last safari day, you go a 2-hours walking tour in farming town Mto wa Mbu. This village is unique in Tanzania since it is home to over 120 different tribes from across Africa and forms a colorful mix of languages and customs. Your walking guide will take you to rice and banana plantations, a local beer factory, a school, and a carving factory. Discover the traditional way of life of the villagers. You will later drive to Arusha for lunch, then continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.

FAQ

I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

The Single Supplement for solo travellers during a Tanzania Safari the additional fee will applied. This surcharge covers the cost difference of occupying a room designed for double occupancy. Solo travellers should be aware of this fee when booking accommodations for safari adventures in Tanzania, as it reflects the pricing structure based on two people sharing a room. While it adds to the overall cost for solo adventurers, it's essential to consider and plan for when budgeting for a solo safari experience.

Should I book pre/post tour accommodation?

For confirmation A 45% deposit is required to secure a booking. This deposit forms part of the payment for the trip and shall be offset to the total amount charged to the client. If the full amount is not paid at least four (4) weeks prior to departure, the Company reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and the deposit shall be forfeited. Clients booking within four (4) weeks of tour departure are required to pay the full amount immediately to secure the reservation. All bank charges are to be settled by the client. This includes transaction fees charged by our bank. The amount shown on the invoice, is the amount that needs to reflect in our account and should bank charges have been deducted, we would have to invoice you subsequently.

What is cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be sent in writing to the office that confirmed the reservation. Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office. In case of a booking cancellation, the Company shall retain the full deposit.
